A mobile mapping system combines LiDAR scanners, high-resolution cameras and GNSS/IMU positioning on a moving vehicle. As it drives, it records a dense, geo-referenced 3D point cloud and 360° imagery of everything along the route — roads, signs, buildings, poles and utilities.
