05DEM vs DSM vs DTM

A DSM includes everything on the surface (buildings, trees). A DTM is the bare ground with objects removed. A DEM is a general term for an elevation grid. We deliver whichever your project requires — clearly labelled.

What contour interval do I need? It depends on the project — flat sites and detailed design need tighter intervals. We advise the best interval for your purpose.

How accurate are the elevations? With ground control, vertical accuracy of a few centimetres is typical.
