3D Survey & 3D Reconstruction in Cameroon
A 3D survey captures a site or structure as an accurate, measurable digital model you can view, measure and analyse from any angle. MKA Mesh Systems creates photorealistic 3D reconstructions of land, buildings, infrastructure and assets across Cameroon and Africa for design, inspection, monitoring and digital twins.
01What is 3D reconstruction?
3D reconstruction is the process of building a true-to-scale digital replica of a real-world object or site from drone imagery, photogrammetry and/or LiDAR. The result is a textured 3D mesh and point cloud where every dimension is measurable.
02How MKA Mesh Systems delivers
- Multi-angle capture — drone and ground imagery for complete coverage, including facades and complex geometry.
- Ground control — surveyed reference points for real-world scale and accuracy.
- Processing — Agisoft Metashape and Pix4D build dense point clouds, meshes and textured models.
- Delivery — in the formats your design, BIM or web-viewer tools require.
03Deliverables
- Textured 3D meshes (OBJ, FBX, glTF)
- Dense point clouds (LAS/LAZ, E57)
- 3D PDF and web-viewable models
- Cross-sections, elevations and measurements
- BIM-ready outputs where required
04Applications & industries
Construction and as-built documentation, building and heritage modelling, infrastructure inspection, mining and stockpiles, real estate visualisation, digital twins, and accident/site reconstruction.
05Frequently asked questions
How accurate are your 3D models? With ground control, models are accurate to a few centimetres and fully scaled to real-world coordinates.
Can I measure on the model? Yes — distances, areas, volumes and elevations can all be measured directly.
What is a digital twin? A digital twin is a continually updated 3D replica of an asset used to monitor condition and changes over time.
